Cover up tattoo

Click here for the final look!

I've been wanting a fairy tattoo for ages but i never could find someone eager enough to do ti for me and since Kirby from utopia tattoos offered to do a cover up of an old tribal, I leaped at the chance!

The last time I was there, cousin Jamie did a rose with 'la vie en rose' inscribed below, will post a picture as soon as I see her online. I waited for 2 weeks for this fairy!!! How exciting! And what with my workload now, I'm pooped, I need a reward for it... bring on the pain man.

Debra, wife of Kirby and ex Versace colleague just gave birth to their first princess. I saw the pictures, how darling she is, all babies are, I managed to get a nice little dress from Mothercare
for baby Kady just b4 my session.

Well anyway Kirby and I started about 3 or 4pm, (nobody could remember exactly what time). Now let me entertain you with the subsequent 5 -6hr pain. We finished the wings, outline and hair. It. Was. A. Killer. I. Nearly. Died.

Now I remember why the little tiger on the thigh was the most painful one. It started out fine but I couldn't help twitching and jerking like a squirrel on weed when I felt the pinpoint of the needle on my back. Wow! To think I lasted that long. After a while it got numb and was fine, till we stopped for a break... then the pain was double.

Kirby had sprayed this numbing thing on my back, an alternative for alcohol which he said will be a monster for me and I'll be hopping. Well, I still hopped, it was like suffering a bad sunburn and bathing with hot water after that. The only thing that I had a problem with, was her face cos I. If you look closely, she's got a flat nose. But it's really hard to say cos the whole right side of my back is sore and swollen now, it just may be ok after it heals. On the whole I love her and the nose isn't something that can't be fixed. All she needs is a nose job! Or just cover with hair, her lovely flaming red hair that I chose cos I think redheads are super sexy! I'm now deciding on the colour of her dress. What do you think? I though pale blue goes really well with red hair, or green.... I've got till the 8th December to think! Then it will be another 2 -3 hrs of 'sunburn'!!

Now I just have to worry about covering it up and not letting my parents see it!
