Wah lau f**k the headstand

Today's beginners class is so not beginners at all.. I nearly gave up halfway. The new moves will kill me. The headstand is 1000 times worse than a handstand. It sure looks easier but it's not loh.. you need abdominal and arm power and the 'way' to do it.. I've been practising till I feel so sick. I want to puke my brains out and I haven't even managed to get it 1/2 way there. I'm not giving up yet so there!

I hit my head doing a handstand! Went forward and crashed into a wall and landed on my brains and knees. @#$*&! Can someone please teach me?

capoeira: maculele

I will NOT attend capoeira class if they're doing the stick fight anymore! Maculelê (dance) is the hardest thing ever.. I have problems during roda clapping and singing at the same time, now not only do I have to clap sticks, I have to dance and sing too... I can't do it!

Tell me it isn't hard. Just when I finally mastered soem kicks, new ones come out and I have difficulty again. At least I'm getting better at Aus now. I think I am.

Cartwheels and handstands

I've been practising... those damn aus and bannaneiras, also known as the cartwheel and handstand. I suck at them cos I've never done them before. But with some guides, I think I can improve on them. So far I've managed to lift mydelf up the wall and hang there for 10 seconds, not a long time but sure I have to start somewhere.. Read about them Handstands, Cartwheels.

Today's class can DIE. Bloody au and banana thingy ala handstand, nearly made me vomit.. and i pulled a muscle again... and i fell onto the fan trying the handstand at home.. hahaha!

A new tattoo and Capoeira

I got my 5th little tattoo today after 7 long years, together with my darling cousin, Jamie. We wanted to get identical ones but ended up having getting totally diff ones... Custom made by Kirby and Donald from Utopia tattoos. Kirby did Jamie's wonderful one while I got mine done by Donald who did it all free hand. I told him to surprise me and surprised me he did! The colours were astounding. BTW, my parents don't know about it so shhh! Upload pics tomorrow.

Capoeira was so embarrassingly fun. I took it at Bantus Singapore. Honestly, I can't remember the names of any of those kicks in Portuguese and I have no rhythm. The beginning was ok until the back stretch which at that point I went flat out on my back after 2 seconds like an elephant collapsing. The Ginga was ok, but that's cos I've been practising at home! Poor Zann's thighs were killing her.. after that... the kicks... ... I couldn't follow for NUTS, it was like everyone was moving like pros and you're the asshole that's the biggest loser who can't follow. I stopped so many times cos I was really lost. The kicks just went anyhow in the end. I can't wait for Tuesday to go again, my off day... On the whole, it was really a good experience, especially the bloody 'au' which was like a cartwheel... if you have never seen a hippo somersault, just watch me I swear the floor vibrated when I landed. Even I could feel it! Well, I manage to sprain my back on the first lesson. For my record, I think it was pretty mild already, could have been worse. The most catastrophic person in the world. I sucked, but I'm not giving up yet!
