Maroon 5 LIVE in Singapore

25 Mar 2008 Tue, 8pm

Singapore Indoor Stadium

Standard - S$185, S$150, S$125, S$100, S$75

SINGAPORE, 12 December 2007 – Having sold more than 10 million albums worldwide, Maroon 5 is back after a long hiatus, and is set to bring their soul-influenced tunes to Singapore!

Following the success of their chart topping single Makes Me Wonder, it is certainly no wonder that Maroon 5’s new album, It Won’t Be Soon Before Long, broke iTunes sales records and went on to become the #1 selling album.

Known for their radio-friendly tunes, honest, open and almost confessional style of lyrics, as well as their unique hybrid of polished pop/rock and neo-soul sex appeal, these boys are back and bigger than ever. Fans can expect “sexier”, “stronger”, and even “lyrically darker” music, according to lead vocalist and guitarist Adam Levine.

With smash hits including This Love, Sunday Morning and She Will Be Loved, it’s easy to see why Maroon 5 has become one of the biggest names in music today.

The wait is over; don't miss your chance to experience Adam Levine and Maroon 5 LIVE in concert for the very first time in Singapore!

This event is brought to you by Midas Promotions and presented by Samsung.

Diva's Own Choiciest

The Diva has chosen based on her own review

Best authors for Epic Fantasy:
  • Elizabeth Haydon- The Symphony of Ages series is simply to DIE for. And if you haven't died yet... um..
  • Sara Douglass - Australian author of the Axis Trilogy and Wayfarers Redemption
  • David Farland- The Runelords series. Now this is a work of art.
  • Mercedes Lackey- She has so many beautifully written fantasy work, however, it's really hard to buy her books cos she tends to co-write lots of them too.
  • Barb & J.C. Hendee -Great series of the Noble Dead. High dark fantasy about a vengeful Damphir and a loyal albeit comical half Elf. Oh and a little Fey wolf too.
  • Graham Edwards- If you like Dragons. It is all about dragons, in fact you ARE the dragon.
  • Maggie Furey - A recipe of fantastic creatures & magical lore
  • Chris Bunch - The Dragonmaster trilogy. Unfortunately he passed on after a long battle with a lung ailment.
  • David & Leigh Eddings - written several best-selling series of fantasy novels
  • Tad Williams - I've only read The Flower War but it seems really good already
  • J.R.R. Tolkien- Lord of The Rings, The Hobbit...

Best authors for Chick Lit:
  • Jill Mansell - ‘Slick, sexy, funny stories’ Daily Telegraph
  • Jane Green - ' Cancel all engagements and read it' Tatler
  • Wendy Holden - ‘So funny and readable you worry about the calorie content’ The Sunday Times
  • Marian Keyes - ' Marian Keyes is chick-lit's class act' Independent
  • Gaby Humptmann- German author of Searching for An Impotent Man
  • Cathy Kelly - 'Summer Street is the new Wisteria Lane’ – Marian Keyes.
  • Fiona Walker - 'A rollercoaster of a read' Hello
  • Sarah Ingham - Kissing Frogs is certainly a Cinderella story of proportions.
  • Girls Night In - Every time you buy a copy of the Night books, £1 is donated to programs helping children in war-affected countries like Africa, Afghanistan and Iraq.
  • Martine Oborne - Getting Even teaches forgiveness and the consequence of a festering hate gone too long. Set among seriously humourous characters, it's a really fun read before bed

Best authors for Classic/ Medieval:

  • Homer - The Iliad, aka Troy
  • Dante Alighieri - The Divine Comedy. His central work, the Divina Commedia (originally called "Commedia" and later called "Divina" by Boccaccio hence "Divina Commedia"), is considered the greatest literary work composed in the Italian language and a masterpiece of world literature

Incubus in Singapore 7 March 2008

Bring a crowd of hardcore fans, screaming teen girls and a mix of almost every classifications of stylemix of people, you get an Incubus concert. Right roaring and hyped up waves of energy.

With Saosin as the opening act (which frankly I have not heard of them, I thought they were a Chinese band!), it was mind blowing. I would say it was a frenzy, judging by the way one young teenage girl was jumping, it was really amusing that girl, from steady beats to frenzied jumping that lasted for seconds.

Best concert this year so far!
